thinking of getting a sct tuner for the ford 6.0,,,but whitch one should i get?

 

I recently purchased the SCT Livewire. I bought the Livewire so that I could replace my Scanguage II for monitoring the engine temps. I am very happy with the SCT canned tunes and the custom tunes from Innovative Diesel, but as far as using the Livewire as a monitor, not so impressed. I don't like it at all and I am still using the Scanguage II to watch engine vitals.

The Livewire is too big & takes up a lot of window space. The display is very reflective which makes it hard to read in the daytime. If I did it again and my suggestion to you is get the X3 w/ custom tuning. Then buy something else to monitor engine vitals. I have been very happy with the Scanguage II. I made my own mount under the review mirror and it works very well.

 

just get the X3 with some custom tunes of your choice and then just get some regular gauges to monitor everything, or even the new Edge CTS looks way cool, i'm thinking of getting one just to monitor everything
