My best friend has a LMM and has been through 3 or 4 "6 Guns" because they keep freaking out and making the truck go into limp mode. Banks has been good about replacing or fixing them.

Could an edge cause this same problem too? for the past week or 2 i've had this same problem but i'm not throwing any codes, once the truck gets warmed up it won't start again till the temp hits 170* or lower, or sometimes i'll get lucky and it'll crank for a few seconds and fire on up. i'm thinking it's the HPO system though

It's simple to check, unplug the Edge and see if that changes. My guess is the same as yours. Probably STC fitting (snap to connect), they're known to fail on these. I was told it's a matter of when, not if. Pretty common. Try searching for it.

I figured that's what it was, seems more like a HPO problem than anything else, do you know what the cost of that part is and how hard it is to change or what a shop charges to change it?

Here is the part Clicky The install isn't hard but it takes patience. Plan on a whole day to do it.

Why is list price lower than "their price" on their website? That doesn't make sense!?
