Default EGR Delete

What's the benefits of an egr delete? Truck is mostly used for towing and it's an 06 f350 6.0l, and has a SCT Livewire tuner.

Reduces the chances of EGR cooler rupturing, increasing exhaust flow to the turbo, possibly preventing puking.

What are the codes? What year truck? With an EGR delete on some trucks it will throw a check engine without an SCT.

How did you find those codes? Those are not standard codes and actually mean nothing. Are they perhaps P0401 and P0611?

P0401 would be insufficient EGR flow, which makes sense if you did the delete, and can only be erased with the SCT and some custom tuning.

P0611 is a FICM performance code. I just posted in another thread how to test, and repair the FICM, if you are indeed having issues with it.

707 was just my number when I raced MX a few years back. That's all.
