Default hub question

i am working on a buddies 6.0 and he lost the lock/unlock hub piece with the gear that rides the axleshaft in the hub assembly

can i replace them with these?

Car Part Wholesale - Auto Parts and Accessories Catalog - Superwinch Locking Hub For 2003 Ford F-350 Super Duty

or do i have to get factory replacements?

They should work, but if it has auto-locking hubs, you'll probably lose that feature' I can't say for sure, as I have not used them in the past. You could call the 800# at the bottom of the compatibility chart to be sure first.

those hubs will work, i've replaced factory ones with those before, they work great and they're easy to install
they'll just be manual hubs after.
