Default Transmition Shift point problem

I was having problems with the egr valve causing the engine to buck when I was in tow/haul.
In reading some of the comments I concluded that it wouldn't hurt to unplug the egr valve.
I took it for a spin and everything ran good. No check engine light.
Put the transmision in tow/haul and the shift pattern increased 500 RPM.
Normal shift was 1500+ now it is 2000+

ANY IDEAS ?

thats what tow/haul is for. My T/H shifts at like 2500, but i have custom tunes.

P.S are you talkinf full throttle or normal driving?

I'm talking normal driving. It didn't shift that high until I unpluged the EGR valve.

THANK YOU

It should. The tow/haul on these is pretty aggressive and keeps the torque converter locked up more. It's to prevent it from hunting for gears and getting hot when towing.
