Default White residue in engine compartment

'06 6.0 I recently had oil cooler and EGR cooler replaced . About 3500 miles later I noticed a white residue on the left side of the engine compartment , and the coolant reservoir was low. It doesn't leak all of the time mainly when pulling trailers . I don't notice puddles underneath. I'm wondering if the EGR went again , and if so should I spend another 100 on the deductible (92,000 on it now) ,or just get an EGR delete kit and be done with it ?

Sounds like head gaskets. Did your dealer check them while the truck was in the shop?

My bad : the white residue is on the right half of the engine compartment . The dealer supposedly had several checks they made after replacing the EGR cooler .

From in the cab , (passenger side) and it goes from up by the radiator over the side of the engine to the firewall . The fan makes it very difficult to tell where it is leaking from .

Never changed a 6.0 water pump, and I've been playing around with these gems for awhile now.

Could you possibly get us a picture of the staining?
