Yeah but their are a number or reasons why you doped compression in your number 8 cylinder. I had a compression test done and still have perfect compression and i have 165,398 miles on my 2004 F350. And until my EGR went out it would pull anything that i wanted to pull i have pulled 14000 lbs with it with no problem it is a good truck nothing else is wrong with it i am happy with it and am planing on putting a 4" exhaust on an after market intake and an Edge Programer on soon.
IMO, you're asking for trouble with an EDGE. Find something that tunes the transmission... really custom tunes are the only way to go with these trucks. SCT is what you need.

That is what i have been hearing i have been looking at SCT tuners just don't know what one to go with. Do you have a preference on what one to go with. I am looking for something that will give me more power and MPG. Do you know if they have something similar to the Edge set up as fare and the monitor. The exhaust that i am thanking about going with is the Banks monster exhaust in a 4" turbo back and the intake afe.

SCT livewire is pretty much the same thing, but allows the use of custom tunes, which Edge does not. Really though, the X-3, the SF3, the livewire... they are all capable of holding the same tunes so it's just preference. Banks exhausts are nice, but still really pricey. MBRP makes some really nice stuff too. AFE is a good choice for an intake. I prefer the dry filter setups, I use the proguard 7 dry filter in mine.

DEZERTDUCK - definitely keep us updated.
