Default 2004 f350 engine rebuild

Hello first time posting and it's a generic question probably been asked a million times.
I have a 2004 f350 quad cab long bed 6.0 pwerstroke 4x4 with a automatic that sits on 35×13.5 × 20inch tires.
I purchased this truck used with 190k on it for 7000 grand and within in a month had to have the hpop, low pressure oil pump, ipr, icp, and oil cooler replaced due to a no start or an intermittent no start problem. We also did a EGR delete and replaced fuel and oil filters plus fluids. To the tune of 5500.00 bucks. That being said gotnthebtruck back from the shop drove awesome for well 2 months it quit in the same way again was building oil pressure on the guage . Had it towed back to the shop and they replaced the hpop under warranty but also said it needed #5 and #7 injectors replaced. Picked up the truck cost me another 1500 and they said that number still had a slight miss but that it was holding at 50psi fuel pressure . Take the truck within 3 months it quits and does the nonstart problem but with a fast crank sound. Goes back to the shop and they say that an injector failed out the oil cooler and front cover and cylinder head and also the front cover which we had replaced on the previous trip. Cost to rebuild the engine with.new oem heads , new performance cam and lifter set , oil cooler, rod bearings and main bearings , are studs, front cover , injector and ps hose plus labor to remove and reinstall was 12000 grand for a grand total of all three repairs inside of 6 months of 19k. Can anyone say whether this was unreasonable or Not. Not gonna hold to it but for my own peace of mind and a little leverage because it's back in the shop because it just quit going through the middle of an intersection no warnings at all. Sorry for the long post. Help if anyone can give me a idea of what it cost on average.

Parts alone is roughly 2500-4000 it takes 28 labor hours per most shops sites. And a good mechanic 2-3 hours to pull it. It should cost no more than 7-8000 I would think i would charge more than that for a complete rebuild top-bottom. Tbh sounds like the shop doesn't know alot about the 6.0. I have tore one out and completely rebuilt it in 48hrs.

Hope this helps
