Tuner question for my 6.0

I just bought a 2004 ford 6.0 I believe the truck was tuned and I just bought me a bully dog and wondering was it safe to install or would it ruin my truck and go get a reflash?

Did the previous owner not reload the stock tune before he sold it? im not sure what it would do

Yeah never put the stock tune back on just don't wanna stack my chips

If you could contact the seller, if he has old tuner maybe you could get it from him. it cant be re used so i don't see why it wouldn't have came with the truck.

Exactly he probably didn't know that. I contacted him told me he sold it. I'll give it a shot with the bully dog I don't think it would hurt the truck since it will be running of its tunes now thanks for the help!

I would worry it would corrupt or lock the computer. This isn't a dodge. You can't stack.

I'd pitch the Bully Dog since the SCT with custom files is SO much better. You can stack tuning on 6.0Ls when using a PCM and FICM tuner. Works great and doesn't hurt with supporting mods.
