Default 6.0 no start question

My buddy has a 2004.5 6.0 all bulletproofed everything and it cut out and wont atart had someone look at it said it was hpop. It just cranks and builds no oil pressure. But today we unplugged the icp and cranked her and started to get pressure. Im thinking ots the stc fittings gone bad. Let me know whag you think any info will help.

Pretty rare for the hpop to go bad. Go on ebay and get a 20 buck fitting and air it up. There is lots of leak points on the oil rail and stc fitting. But unless it's a huge leak it should start cold. Does it build low pressure oil on the dash Guage when cranking? If it doesn't you have a more serious issue.

the 04.5 does not have the failure prone STC fitting, normally if it dies while driving then it is going to be one of 3 things, failed IPR valve --failed HPOP--or failed low pressure oil pump

when you unplug the icp it will give a false reading to the computer, it will just show desired as actual. see if it fires up with some ether. then look at oil pressures, actual icp needs to be about 475-500 to start the engine
