Im new to the diesel world but the problem im having with my 05 ford 6 0 is that i cant get over a thousand rpm nor go over 20mph ive had the truck on a scanner and its lead me to the peddle postion sensor not getting full voltage i replaced the sensor and its still doing it its getting plenty of fuel if you guys could please help me out with an idea of what it could be that would be greatly appreciated

 

I think it sounds like the same problem i had in my truck if you put it in drive will it move

 

Change your egr (DPFE) pressure sensor that fixed my problem

 

Yes sir it will move just wont go over 1000 rpm or 20 mph

 

It also has an egr delet on it

 

It may still have that sencor on the motor i belive you can fool the computer keep truck turned off key out unplug the sencor drive the truck and see if that works if your truck moves and goes the sencor is bad the sencor is rite under the overflow bottle mine is just beside the vavle cover you can try that don't work then iam not sure if you need more helping the sencor just holla

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you but i went and had it checked i had fried diodes in the ficm and just got it replaced with a 58volt sinister ficm i appciate your help
