High mileage 6.0
so i have the opportunity to buy a 2004 f350 6.0 powerstroke cclb. its a southern truck with zero rust. the dealerships askin $7k for it and my only concern is its got 215k miles on it. should i stay away or go for it
What is the history record for the motor?
7,000$ i have to wonder
I would recomend taking it to a good diesel shop and have them go through the entire truck and give you a list if anything they found.

Great advice from above.
I bought my 03 Ex for about the same but spent more than the purchase price fixing or replacing bad components. I agree that a good powerstroke shop should go over the common (expensive) issues on the truck before you buy. FYI my head gaskets on my 230K truck were okay but everything else wasn't
