6.0 will jump start but......

04 6.0L Cranks but wont start. Jump it and it starts. Remove jumper cables and it dies? Suggestions?

You need good 12 v to ficm and 48 v at ficm to fire injectors. Check batteries, connections and alternator, sounds to me like alt went bad and batteries are run down.
