Question Different length oil filters ?
First time changing the oil and I got the Motorcraft FL-2016 .

The filter that was in there is about an inch longer. Is this common ?

Someone used the crappy WIX with the filter cap. Go to Ford or aftermarket to get the OEM sized oil filter cap for proper operation. You have been warned.
