im looking into buying a 6.0 here soon i have always been a die hard 7.3 person and still drive a 7.3 i wouldnt even consider buying the 6.0 except the one im looking at is a man that is a close family friend of over 30 years or more its a 2006 king ranch crew cab 127,xxx miles i know what he has had to do to it he has done the EGR delete and has put several thousand dollars into the motor when he got it fixed he is wanting to sell it now and i am wanting to get it while the work is still fresh due to the fact i know that the people he has working for him are hard on vehicles and they arent the best when it comes to doing maintenance i have used it to pull i have pulled trailers for him when he has needed help and he has let us borrow it in the past when we have needed to borrow it to pull gooseneck trailers earlier this week we borrowed it to go on a 120 mile round trip to pick up an e350 box truck it pulled great never had any problems i know that maintenance is a must on these trucks and that they need to be worked does anybody have any other advice or suggestions in regards to this?
