I have two friends that run it on thier Fords and swear by it. Sure woke up the truck! And it only kicks in at a set rpm so it is not using your propane up rolling thru the WalMart parking lot ! I was impressed, If I had a Ford I would add this.

Propane is old school.

Nitrous would offer a larger benefit IMO.

Wouldn't Nitrous be more stable then the propane injection?

Way more. Propane you're adding a second fuel, nitrous you're just adding air to burn the fuel you've already got. I'm not really big on adding other fuels into the mix, and that's also why I always recommend a low concentration of meth in w/m setups.

I don't see why nitrous is illegal. Other then the fact of what the fast and furious movies did. Its just air.

Because you can get high as hell off of it... haha

Though I believe the automotive grade stuff is different from the stuff the doctors used, but I haven't looked into it much honestly.

I think medical grade is Nitrous oxide not nitrous. Lol and if you can get your hands on the medical one I doubt you would be running it in your truck.

Nitrous oxide is what you would be running in the truck, it's the same gas, just different grades of it I believe.

Putting my mask on cuz I'm about to highjack this post!

Nitrous USE is illegal in some states because just like slicks, it's off road use only. Probably some DOT crap there, just like why your 7 sec certified Simpson harness will get you a seatbelt ticket.

Next, the ONLY difference between medical nitrous and whatLs in the trunk of my 1967 Mustang is there is sulfur added to prevent idiots from huffing it.

Finally, nitrous is an oxygenator. It works great in EFI because the computer sees the lean and sprays more fuel. In my Mustang I have one line to the carb and one to the gas solenoid on my plate. I don't know how nitrous would work in an old school mechanical injected diesel without a secondary fuel supply. Essentially, it leans the motor, the extra fuel makes up for it and WOOHOO!! Yer in a 3100# car making about 525hp!

I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
