Need some info on the 6.0 runnin red diesel? Got a bunch of it and wondering if it's ok to run in my 05 6.0. Thanks guys an gals

 

Dyed diesel is the same as regular diesel minus they dye. The fines if you get caught on the other hand...

 

^ yep, the fines can be pricey but nowadays there is not difference between red diesel and road diesel other than dye and tax.

Heck you could even run heating oil if you wanted you might need some anti-gel additive but other than that it would work.

 

I've heard it a couple different ways, it's either a $10,000 fine, or $1,000 per gallon in the tank... either way, don't get caught!
