Fixed it up, i soldered the wires and everything better now, cept shes blowing blue/white smoke and seems to miss right in the middle of the powerband, im taking out the egr vavle today and gonna try to clean it up

 

Check that first, then check the FICM.

 

Cleaned the egr and tested the FICM, all normal, still smokin

 

What oil and filter you using? Could just be an injector crapping out. Any way to do a cylinder contribution test?

 

Rotella T6 with a ToughGuard filter, and i might be able to do that, not sure, i got 100 horse injectors at the shop but the truck is bone stock

 

ToughGuard filter? Who makes that?

100 hp injectors? Are they out of a cummins or something?

Fram makes em, and im not sure where the injectors are from, got em from a wrecked 6.0 and the owner said they were 100 horse marine injectors ... beats me

 

hahaha 100 horse marine injectors? WTF? Definitely cummins lingo for sure.

I would send them out to be gone over before putting them in. You might find you have 8 junky stock injectors in your hands. Have them flow tested to see what size they are.

What's the difference between the standard FRAM's like we buy in the orange containers vs. the toughguards? Or isn't there one? Are they one in the same?

 

Fram makes I think 3 different grades of filters not sure of the difference Wally World carries all 3.
