I want to get a 2000 for my wife, she is fighting me on the gas/diesel issue, she thinks diesel stinks, (cant belive I married her) but she also likes the sound of the diesel and the clout that comes with it. Iether way a 2000 4x4 9 passenger leveling kit with all the same upgrades I am going to put on my F-350 with under 50k is in our future.

So what your saying is your bumper weighs in at almost 1k? Because I know that a Ex with 37's weighs in at 7800-7900#'s...

My pickup weighs in at 8800 with 145 gallons of fuel and a full tool box.

Just googled it. 6,610-pound curb weight (2WD with 5.4-liter V8 -- the 4WD Diesel weighs 7,648 pounds). I misread the GVWR which is 9200....

You know, i know a guy that weighs 400 lbs.... hes white and has brown hair... and the same last name as me! Does that mean were the same weight? Im not starting a pissing match, but lets take your 7900 lbs (on 37's) and start there

7900 + 30lbs per tire more x 4 =
8020 + 308 lbs front bumper + goodies =
8328 + full size spare and rim 110lbs =
8438 + 3 5gal air tanks, nathans, tool box = 200 (to be nice) lbs
8638 + traction blocks & bars (100 lbs to be nice, box said 180)
8738 + 2 memphis mojo 15's, boxes, 4 amps and all other electronics (150 lbs)
8888

Shall i keep going?

If the guy says his truck weighs 9k lbs why argues with him? Maybe it actually DOES? why try to pick someone out of a group to make them look like an idiot? When i picked this truck up from california the cat scale read all of 8648 if i remember correctly, and that was before the spare, onboard air and tools and bumper... and it wasnt even full! so my guess on being 88** lbs may be an undershot!

i do have to apologize for the pointing smiley? not sure what i typed but i just noticed that thing in there?

My truck weighs in at 8800#'s... With 145 gallons of fuel, 10 gallons of water, 37's, Tool box full of tools

There is no way a FULLY loaded X weighs in at 9k, I know this, because my wife drives one everyday, and pulls trailers with it every day, and goes across scales very often.

7600-7800 fully loaded, full of fuel.

Put it on the scale or STFO...

..at least you have internet out there....I've been in places where electricity was rationed to 10 minutes per 24 hour period and running water was a synonym for diarrhea.
