Seems that way... I will see if I can get the wife to join up, but I doubt she will... I hit them up on other sites as I see them!!!

Hey I want one. Just got to find the right deal on the right truck. Haven't figured out what all I need to check or best years to buy yet.

 

If you want to mod it............. go with 2000 .......last year with forged rods

 

It's not going to be heavily modified. In fact my wife is going to drive it. I guess you can only put a diesel truck girl in a minivan so long. 2000 seam's to be the best year for the 7.3 or at least thats the one everyone want's.

 

That's what I though when I bought our Excursion for the wife......you will not be able to leave it alone.....mine is a 2000 ....no major problems yet........got an oil leak up top....HPOP or turbo pedestal......gotta get that fixed...but it's not bad yet

 

Yea I know I wont be able to leave it alone but if I start with leaving it stock to begin with then I will modify it some. If I start with modifying it in mind I will end up way overboard.
