Again, as I said before...

Then your bumper weighs in at about 800#'s... Because Chelseas Excursion weighs in on 37's at 8200#s...

A stock height, stock bumper'ed Ex is not going to weigh over 7500#'s...

But I am glad you proved yourself right.

Good news, bad news time - You guys are going to be mad at me... I sold mine. That's the bad news. The good news is I'll be buying another one sometime after the new year.

I guess you could say that. I think it's really a ride quality issue. It's a great looking truck, but you look like a jack bouncing down the road all the time. I put a cup of coffee in the cup holder one time and half of it was gone when I got to work. That was fun to clean up. Forget giving the kids snacks or drinks in it.

Trying to convert to 4 link and coils is an expensive road to take ($10K) and trying to revert back to a semi-stock height is too ($5.5K) I'll start with a fresh truck and find some kind of compromise between height, ride quality and cost. As for this animal, she gets picked up tomorrow and is headed out of state.

Don't the 2003+ Excursion have OEM 4 links on the front? That might be a good starting point. I know they have the 6.0's that everone seems to hate but I've read they can be good solid engines with a few things removed and a few others beefed up - that true?

Any how - Wife is happy, kids are pissed - I can live with that. At least I can enjoy my coffee in the morning driving my F150 with out losing a drop.
