Default HHO - What do you guys think?

I'm thinking about putting a HHO system on my 7.3 IdI non turbo'd motor. My brother put one in his gasser and it seems to work. Everything I could find gave it a positive nod, but what about real world every day useage? The one I'm looking at produces 4-5 liters per min. For a 7.3 is that like flooding it, or just pissing in the wind? Any thoughts?

Haven't done it to my diesel. But put one on our 95 gmc 4x4 350 auto and it did really good. Not the inflated claims they say, but it did work. It was built from plans online. Just don't have time to do another. My cost was abt $400 complete and installed by me. Let me know how it does on diesel.

MAN.... this is a soar subject too many. just dont say you gained any mile per gallon ()

I made one for my 96 f350 7.3l

what I saw that it did was make my oil cleaner, meaning that when I would do a oil change, it had more life in the oil. I did not gain any extra mile per.

I'm not sure if this had anyhting to do with the HHO,but I do think so...where I had tiny little leaks in the exhaust (around band clamps) i started to notice some surface rust around where it was leaking, scared me enough to pull it off and the heads to make sure there was no rust or pits in the valve seats, thank goodness there was no rust or any kind of a problem with the heads.

I can just say on our Gmc, we went from avg of 12-14 to 14-16. And a noticable small boost in power. Not miraculous. But it's paid for itself already. Kit makes a big diff. JMHO and experience.

I don't believe in HHO or any other "perpetual motion" type devices. What you could do is hook up a water injection kit and you will see similar gains as what MODiesel saw which is common in HHO systems as you usually draw some of the water in.

The water injection system, done correctly, will help to lower your EGT's a bit and will keep the combustion chambers cleaner.
