Im have a running problem with my IDI 6.9 Non turbo...The truck with idle rough and the truck will shack truck and then it will come out of it and idle smooth or you can give it fuel and it will come out of it...And when the truck sits over night or during the day when you start it it will run for 2 seconds and die and you can start it up again and it will stay running ..I put new glow plugs , glow plug really , The injector top caps ,o-rings ,lines kit ,fuel filter...If you have any ideas i would appreciate your input! Thanks

 

is the pump turned up

 

sounds like you are till having fuel bleeddown issues or air intrusion.

 

The pump has been turned up 1 FLAT but was doin it before it was turned up..The water separator has been bypassed from the person who owned the truck before me.. I put a new lift pump On the front side of the engine because it was leaking fuel..

 

i dont know that id be running it with no fuel filter for 1, and id be checking for an air leak somewhere.

 

I am running a fuel filter! I said the water separator was by-passed.
