I've been wanting to put super duty mirrors on mine. The only way I could figure doing it is pull the wing window out and replacing it with some sort of mounting bracket for the new mirror. only problem is covering the mounting bolts inside the cab so you dont have to look at a bunch of nuts from the mirror.
yea thats why i was hoping to see if anyone done it already. you could always cut the mounting bolts down to not stick through so far i was thinkin and then just box it off inside
I had thought about mounting SD mirrors on an OBS truck. Same way too. But the more I thought about it, I'd have to see it first. Plus, that little window is nice to have sometimes.
Here's the "west coast style" mirrors on an F350

Looking around I found some pics of Dodge tow mirrors put on an OBS truck. I don't think it looks too bad, odd, but not bad. When they are flipped out, they look really high, flipped down, not so much. But that could be because the truck is lifted too.

I wonder how the view is with them. I'm not a big fan of the dodge mirrors though. I really prefer the way the SD ones are set up. These dodge ones almost drive my eyes nuts. Maybe im just not as used to them
