FUEL FILTER LIGHT BLINKS WHEN IDELING
Ok So got the shut off problem fixed now when I am at an idel the fuel filter light blinks fast and then when I pull away it goes off?????
The truck seems to run fine so I put a new filter on today but still does the same thing

Bottom is for water in fuel light.
Top has two, one for fuel heat, and one for filter restriction, but if I remember correctly it's not a delta P light, it's a low pressure light which would mean that a faulty fuel pump could cause it to light.

Sorry bout that, this is why I should not stay up all night on prepware and trying to answer posts, but anyways.
A delta P light is a light commonly found on jet aircraft which warns of impending filter bypass, is is run via pressure differential not out put pressure, therefore a failing pump could not cause it.
You're pump can be tested by hooking up a fuel pressure gauge, the valve on the housing makes a good place for it, sorry but I can't remember how much pressure at what RPM off hand but know that it's at least 7psig at 2000 rpm.
Yes, a bad sensor could cause it to light up, as could a short.
