Not at all familiar with turbos had one on a 6.0 never paid attention to it since it was always in the shop. anyway have a ats on a 6.9 and doesnt seem to work what could i look for,there is some oil on top of intake could the turbo seize and motor still run good? Any ideas would be appreciated

 

What makes you think it's not working? Does the turbine spin freely, shaft play? If the turbo were to seize, the truck would still run, just like crap I imagine.

 

Best advice check shaft play and if it spins freely and take of the air intake and strat truck in a clean enviroment for no dust or dirt goes in it
