You know an 89 7.3 is not a powerstroke right? It's an IDI. Is it turbo'd or N/A? I'd reccomend a straight pipe either way, but I love noise. A straight piped turbo motor wont be very loud, but an N/A motor straight piped will be pretty noisy.

Gotta link? I've been wondering; should I do headers or something?

I need to replace my exhaust from after the y pipe. Fell off and i ran over it. I was gonna have my local a friend of mine that has a exhaust shop do it for my crew cab for about $85-$95 in 3 inch. The Dynomax kits a 4 inch with 5 inch tip. Anyone know the price of the dynomax exhaust kit?

Well Spurrit I had this guy do my exhaust on my 88 last summer and he made it 3 inch right where the 2 pipes join on the Y pipe and it it got alot better milage and reduced the EGT's. Im running a Thrush 3 inch welded muffler on there and a turn out before the axle. Sounds good to me and I dont have more than $75 in that install.

After posting the previous post i found the dynomax kit is 3inch after the y pipe back to the muffler and 4 in after the muffler over the axle for $332.

Summit sells the kit
