Running the RDT seemed to work. I'm not finding oil in the turbo anymore. Still smoking out the tailpipe but its less. Hopefully it's whats left in the intake chambers. I'll try running it down the highway for a while and see what happens. My oil lose is almost nothing now. Thanks for all the help.

Thanks to DieselCrawler and Hyde for the help. I'm no longer finding oil in the turbo but still have blue smoke. I bought another 7.3 so I'm just going to rebuild that one and put it in. Thanks again.

I'll check that tomorrow. In an earlier post you say putting in exhaust valve seals. I've looked but haven't found for exhaust all intake. So are you using intake seals in the exhaust or am I looking in the wrong places?

Ok I finally got enough time to play with the truck again. I checked the turbo for play and no in & out play and very little side to side play. I finally installed the CDR I ordered and once again oil got by and into the turbo. So the RDT is what I'm sticking with. I had a exhaust leak on the manifold so I pulled it of and while it was off I looked into the port and on the valve stem was wet oil. Only on one but I guess thats probably enough to give me the smoke I have. So I'm going to have to get some valve seals.

Any chance of a picture thread illustrating this? I have no frigging clue what you're talking about, really. (Hey, at least I'll admit it!)

Ok to put an end to this thread. I replaced all 16 valve seals while heads were in the truck. While removing the old seals I found 3 bounets stuck to the spring retainer and a fourth that was cracked around the top. I replace the valley pan and put the truck back on the road. It only took 10 mins of city driving to stop smoking and now the truck is smoke free. Thanks for all the input and idea's to help relieve my problem.
