the 110 plug is for your block heater

truck has two batterys due to the needed amps. the batterys are wired in series to make same voltage but double the amps.

Thats a negative ghost rider. The batteries are wired in parallel. Positive to positive, Negative to negative. But yes, Increasing amps.

battery on the passengerside of the truck is your main battery. driverside is auxillary. better to jump with the passengerside.
As far as recommendations, go with Odyssey, or Optima. If you're on a budget, look for deals on amazon that are AGM dual purpose batteries for marine environments, or just go with Diehard from the parts store. But again, AGM would be best...well, technically lithium would be best, but those are still outrageously expensive, and you have to get a specific lithium one built for starting, that, and you would have to upgrade some of the wiring more than likely....soooooooo Go with AGM dual purpose, and upgrade your alternator to a 3g.
