Default Overdrive Light Flashing, Trans slamming into gear what to do???

I have a 1994 ford f250 with a 7.3 idi turbo diesel and since i have owned it the overdrive light flashes and the transmission shifts really hard sometimes squeeling the tires! i was first told it was the throttle possision sensor but i have changed that. what else can it be?

i have scanned it many times and it is not reading any codes. the first time i scanned it, it was reading the throttle possition sensor and i replaced it along with some others on the rear end and on the transmission that were trashed due to mudding. but now it is doing the same thing but only with no codes.

you need to scan for the actual transmission code for such as transmission slip code or torque converter

ya man the overdrive blinking as you correctly said is a code to show without actually scanning with the obd2 or whatever the name of the actually scanner that the mechanic would actually use to see what the problem is and how to fix it that the computer would say was with the engine or transmission ya no what im saying or no?
