Default 7.3 turbo idi, help please

Hey DB,
A buddy of mine is interested in a couple of IDI's and is looking for some advice and opinions. Right now he's driving around a junk gas chevy and is looking for something more reliabe. What is everyones opinion on the IDI ? What kind of fuel mileage is to be expected ? Any other input will be appreciated.

Here are the links to the trucks...

This truck doesn't mention a turbo..
Ford F250 Diesel - Many extras!

95 body, turbo IDI
Ford F350 Crew Cab

Thanks guys

the idi is very reliable, i like the first one more but thats just my opinion. i dont think it has a turbo either but it should still be a strong stout truck. i have a 94 idi w/ a turbo and get about 20 mpg.

how are you guys getting such good mileage? I am getting an average of 14 on my '92 with everyday driving-not standing on it or anything.

I get 14-15 but I dont have overdrive, have the pump up past reasonable for no turbo and I drive like an asshat. Gotta love IDI reliability though
