Hmm im gonna have to look into that.. ive never heard of that being a problem before..

Hmm... Was your mobile 1 synthetic oil or natural? Something about synthetic going into old engines never mixed right in my experiences. The detergents clean the motor too well around the rings and opens up the area where all the 'gunk' collected and leaves area for the oil to escape. Its happened to My quad and in motors i seen in my machine shop. But thats my best bet there.
