I now of a guy in Winnipeg, Manitoba that does that. He said he's been doing it for years and has never had any problems. Told me it would hold up to 400HP maybe a bit over that, if your not trying to drag around an 8000LB sled. LOL

I got the complete package to convert from Dual Mess to Solid from Dial-a-Clutch for about 5 Ben Franklins. Flywheel, bolts, Pilot Bearing, Disc, Pressure Plate, bolts, & TO bearing. As long as you get a 4X4 tail housing on the tranny I do believe the X-fer case will bolt right up. Ford is pretty standard on their X-fer cases. Same bolt pattern and input spline. The trannys tho', are expensive. Try and find a donor vehicle at a salvage yard and make them a deal on everything from the Pedal assy to the tailshaft and up to the speedo cable and the linkage and down to the crossmember and mount including all the bolts, front to back. It's the little details that will eat your lunch on a project like this. Alternately You might consider getting that C6 rebuilt and pony up for a Transgo kit and Heavy Duty clutches, sprags and Torque Converter. Those C6's are a bad *** slush-box. Just no OD.
