Default new block heater

I'm new to this site, I need some opinions on how hard it is to replace the block heater on my 1993 f250. I've read up on it and seems fairly easy to replace. So any help would be great

Default Replacing block heater 1999 f350 7.3 super duty

I am replacing the block heater on my 1999 F350 7.3 Super Duty... got the starter out, cord fell out of the block heater... There is a screw off center... Can I assume that comes out? I can pull this heater down a little but not enough to get it out..is that screw holding it in place?

It's -20, working outside and looking for the right way to get this done..

Thanks!

It's not to bad, you can get to it through the wheel well if you remove the splash shield or you can do it underneath at which point removing the starter would give you more room, but is not entirely necessary.

You might want to try posting in the correct forum, we deal with the old IDI diesels in here, 1983-1994. you will get a better response that way.
