Default engine oil dipstick

Is it always a pain to get the dipstick back in on the 7.3 idi. like the last part of it that has the solid part by the handle. it's almost like it hits the bottom of the oil pan before it's all the way in

Mine needs a little oomph to reach the bottom, but very little, are you sure it's the right dipstick?

Could need a new tube .... I would pull the tube out and inspect for damage ... it may be bent below the deck in the block ... would explain the ongoing issue with it ... ..

Really ? Ebay ... Mine pulled right out dip stick and all on my E4OD.
How much on ebay ? For a 94 IDI TURBOED ?
Is there a bracket that bolts on to hold it in place ? I havent dealt with mine yet.. I just wired it together because the dealership said they do not have the trans dip stick anymore.
