'90 7.3 IDI glow plug problems

Just what you need!
So just to confirm, my 6.9 in my other truck won't start at subzero temperatures without having power availible... so until I can get the power turned on, guess the truck is stuck where it is.
The 7.3 when everything works right is on the verge passing zero... and the 6.9 actually ALMOST started, but I just didn't have the battery power to keep trying.
Good thing there's a rescue truck that I've been decommissioning for surplus sitting at my house... guess I'll be plugging it in when I get home in case there's a fire call... (that truck is also 6.9 powered).

On the 7.3 or the 6.9? 7.3 does pretty well, I also run 5W-40 rotella in that truck for the winter... night and day difference vs 15w-40 when it's 40 below! I have the later model battery cables too (single wire as opposed to multi part).
I actually have more for my story to add another time... The 6.9 backup truck is back online since they figured out why the power wasn't on, and now I have another truck (the fire dept one) stuck in my driveway because the winter fuel it was supposed to have turned out to be summer blend (Alaska winter blend fuel is good past -40 untreated). Something else to deal with when I get home from work next week...
