He's a good friend of my father in law, he's seems like an honest guy.. Only paying for the man hours and the tow it took to get it to the shop! He said hell show me what caused the pump to be no good..I'll keep it updated once I get the old one.

Should have the paperwork on all the work and the old IP itself on the 20th when I get that thing out of the shop

 

Wow ..... took them long enough, was it the pump or do u know the exact extent of the problem (s) ?

 

They replaced the water pump, ip, and had to go through and retorque a few injectors, I've just haven't had the money to get it out right away now that me and the girlfriend have a kid on the way..Been a hell of a week!

Some sort of internal problem with the pump, clogged with some black sludge and internal components of the pump not functioning at all..

 

Ahh, I see ... thats why i always run Dextron ATF in my fuel , the Detergents will help to keepo in clean, I found out the same way you did my friend, and yeah I have ( WE) have 3 kids , and the IP was 550, and inj were 400, then I broke the trans/t-case adapter ... that was 900..... I completley understand.... Keep prayin It works, faith goes a long ways my friend
