my truck is a 94 7.3 idi stock turbo. it has new injectors, new fuel lines, new low pressure fuel pump, new glowplugs, new starter, and has 192k miles.... why does it smoke white so much and so long when started. it does not smell like coolant at all.... smells like fuel

by the way the flex tube is a temp thing till my new piping gets done it will be 4 inch intake tubing..... found the flex gets lower temps than open

 

Ever check the pump timing?

 

my truck does the same thing it is unburned fuel but mine clears up when it get warm. if your stays on all the time the most likely an injector is stuck open. i had 4 injectors stuck open at one time and holy friggin crap! white smoke all the time low power and like 6 feet per gallon haha. use injectors from graigs list and bam good2go.

 

I have new injectors but i can take them out and pop test them if need be... The truck does clear up once warm but it takes quite a while... I am looking at a new injection pump and having it timed....
