Default Building My IDI

So i have a 7.3 IDI non turbo and i am rebuilding my motor but i want to know the best head studs to use as well as injectors and turbo. i pretty much want to make the motor bulletproof with more power and torque but still be able to roll some serious coal.

id say arp headstuds are the way to go. im not sure where to find them but you can run moose injectors and injection pump from what ive heard. he matches the injectors to the pump

i have a turbo bmw and i didnt want to pay for headstuds from arp and looked online and all the european dudes use metric blues wich are no tapper non stretch and they work great. so you could get bolts that are the same size and thread pattern as stock and wont stretch from an online high grade bolt dealer. save loads of money.

I see you're from MA. I'm out in sothern worcester county

I would just buy BB injectors and a rebuilt turbo pump and crank up the fuel screw. The moose pump and injectors are worth the money IMO. Might as well stroke it if you're gonna drop that kind of cash.

Well the issue your gonna run into no matter what u attempt to run is cylinder temp and not being able to run much for boost ..... unfortunately ur limited by tue design of the engine ...... I do wish tuere was a way to make gobbs of power with these ..like a 12valve ..... but the design is good .... just not with a bunch of boost ..... I have BB injectors and my truck runs awesome .. the only issue is interior noise
