hey guys,im new to the site.bit of a diesel novice,so forgive me if dont make sense.i have a94 7.3 turbo,none direct inj,and im having starting problems.sounds like the same thing as soggybottom,however,i have replaced all the glow plugs with bosch ones.still blows white smoke when started cold.i ohm checked all the new glow plugs.just replaced the glow plug control unit and still have the same problem,oh,the wait light comes on but goes out almost straight away.hopefully someone can help,thanks

 

Does it start ok though, white smoke on a cold start is normal. If it's hard to start then I would check the harness to make sure the power is getting to the plugs.
