Doh!!! Damn it I knew that too!

 

Oil or fuel pump? Im fixing to put a fuel pressure gauge on it and see how many pounds its pushing. Ive been thru the return lines and main lines and no leaks, im thinking the mechanical fuel pump has weakend. It doesnt hold pressure as you know, and im not finding any leaks. It takes forever for it to get fuel to crank and then its like it looses fuel and shuts down.

 

Does anyone know of any good websites for performance parts or good quality parts because next summer i am lookin to start adding onto my 1992 7.3 idi non turbo and i wanna start pricing and ordering please let me know

Well I figured out the problem on my truck. The mechanical fuel pump had sucked the fuel up so hard it bent the casing between the inlet and outlet. I'll post a picture later of what it looks like.

I am also having this same problem!!!! mine jsut started running rough and didnt make it home. now will not strat cranks but dont start i changed fuel pump.cps.icp sensor. fuel and filter. but mine is on a 1999

 

I assume you have put it on a computer? And if you did what did it read?
