Sounds like air getting in to me. Check return line caps, they are a hassle to get them happy and not leak air in. When you put new lines in did you use new viton o-rings? Also how did you set your timing?

The timing should already be set. I've heard of that happening but i dont know how it could happen. There is a dowl pin that goes into the top timing gear to line up the injection pump with the gear. I put the o-rings in that came with the kit. And I've bled all the lines

More to timing then just lining up the dowl pin. The orings that come in the kits suck. Did u at least lube the o rings before you put them over injectors?

The injection pump can be rotated just like the distributer on a gas engine, although not as far it has the same effect on timing.

Ya I lubed the o-rings just to make sure. I will definitely check the timing now. You guys are the bomb.

Ok, the injector pump was out of time a little bit. I saw the timing marks on the pump and block. But it will start on eather and run for 10 seconds, then rough idle and throw whitish grey smoke and quit and won't start back until I put a little eather to it.

There is a lift pump though, have you looked at that?
