Hey guys I have a friend and he has a 94, diesel, he can be driving along, and all of a sudden it will miss and lug lug lug and then quit and two minues of cranking to start back up then runs fine, Now I said to check the lines and orings, also the fuel pump. Am I right??

 

maybe dirty fuel filter or water in fuel

 

I change the fuel filter every 3000 miles

 

ok thats good any chance of bad fuel or water in fuel,maybe getting air in lines somewhere but it would be leaking fuel

This is an IDI and not a powerstroke?

Is this a single or dual tank truck? If dual, does it only happen with the same tank selected each time?
