Default Opinions needed, should I or shouldn't?

I found this scoop in some stuff I got, its from the early mopars. sorry for the bad cell phone pics. I would have to modify it some to get it to fit right.

there is a cross brace dead center of the hood for structural integrity

dunno how you would fit a scoop in there

Never ever for myself, but if that's your thing go for it. Scoops are for carbs, IMO.

Not really for function. I like how mean thesetrucks can look with the right hood on them. Maybe I'll save this one for something else.

I have been considering a scoop myself. My thought was offset to the right and actually draw in cool, fresh air directly into the air filter. I don't have one laying around to see what it would look like.

Your scoop looks great! Go for it!

I think it looks cool. On my '99 1500, I was going to get one of the old Subaru WRX scoops and put it on there. Thought it would look and fit well.

Never got around to it though. It looked like just the right width to actually cut the hood and make it functional with the way the air box sits on top of the 5.2L Magnums.
