i have no idea where to put this? but has anyone attempted to prevent rust by spraying or rubbing something on the exterior before winter.i was wondering if some wax or light oil coating would work? info would be helpful thank you guys

 

I just let mine leak. My parking spot even stays water, snow and ice free.
