Default Block Heater Replacement

Has anyone changed one of these? seems pretty staightforward, my question is, will I get coolant spilling out when I back out the old filament? and is there anything special I need to do?

Yeah you'll get some coolant leaking out, but if yer quick about it won't be that much. Replaced mine last week and lost less than a quart. Make sure to use teflon tape.

If you jack up the passenger side of the truck or park on a hill or something you will lose less coolant.

Make sure you clean it up good because animals like to drink it and it kills them quick.
