hey guys, ive heard that there is some way you can access an hour meter using the ODO reset button in the truck. How is this done and can it be done on an 01 truck?

I believe someone posted it up earlier today.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hold the trip button in.
Turn the key on, but not to start.
I believe that shows you the hours.

That may be year specific. I couldn't get it to work on my 99'

 

i read that as well, but i figgured that was a third gen thing......thats why i posted this up haha

 

its only for third gens i think, cause it works on my 05 but not on my 02

 

I believe the dealer can scan and tell ya that......also yer average miles per hour, I dle time, tow time...............so I have read anyway
