I hear the difference. But, what is 3 cyl warm up? And what's the theory behind 3 cyl warmup?

3 cylinder warm up is the ECM cutting out every second cylinder in the firing order and the engine runs on only 3 cylinders. The theory is that the 3 cylinders will have to work twice as hard to run the engine with the 3 dead cylinders. The higher load is supposed to heat up the engine faster. You can hear the turbo spool when is shifts into 3cyl mode, its workin harder.

Espar is the ticket!! Just got one of those puppies installed, man thats just too cool. Its been just above 0 F in the mornings.. 1 hour with that thing on and its hotter than if I idled it on high idle for an hour. Amazing..

No kidding ! Its the only way to go if you live in a cold climate. Even running it a 1/2 hour makes a big diference.
