well headed out this morning and truck started shuddering when I shifted into 3rd, pulled over thinking now what, although I kind of knew what it was, under truck I go , give rear drive shaft a shake and yup, steady bearing shot, at least this time driveline failed 100 yards from home and not on highway with massive damage. got truck home and called around for new one, $101.90 which I'll get monday.

 

that sucks. at least this one's cheap when you grade on a curve.
