Default 01 Bad injector(s)?

Just bought an 01 with 280k on it. Air dog 165 don't know how many miles on the VP but it fires up no problem and idles fine. but when its cold,(25 degrees out) it will only rev up to about 1800rpm, once it runs for a few minutes it will rev fine but sounds like its got a miss. Good amount of white smoke. Injectors bad? cracked tip? Looking to fix before I put it on the road. any help would be great.
Thanks!

nugatory no check engine lights or nothing. Only lights that are on are ABS and low fuel. (haven't put any in it) Figuring it might be a cracked tip? or just a fried injector period. Figured before I spend $500 on stock injectors id see what else it could be

You might have to pull the injectors and check them one by one. The only thing it costs is your time.

How long has the fuel that is in it been in the tank? You might have bad fuel. Throw a hlaf tank in with some conditioner, and see what happens.

Reason I say this is because I've seen poor performance due to fuel. I worked at a John Deere Ag dealership, and was setting up a new tractor. Advertised at 180hp, it would make 150 on the dyno. Messed around with filters, checked pressures, and after a while the fuel was getting low. Put a 1/4 tank of new fuel in, tractor made 183hp!

Seems right. Just filled it up today and hasn't acted up yet. Left with it cold and it was okay for about a mile then beGan to spit and sputter pretty good then right back to normal. Fuel filter? Or possibly **** fuel.

Wouldn't hurt to put a new filter in it anyway. And add some fuel treatment. See if that fixes you up.

filters were good. looked into the whole dead pedal idea. that seemed to be it. went to put fuel in today and the truck spit twice, then shut off at a light. put 10 gallons or so in it, still nothing. lift pump is supplying plenty of fuel. tested the two bottom prongs on the back of the plug on the VP pump, had power and a good ground. Junk pump? Or electrical?
thanks
